I wander the fields, the forests, the streams In search of the game that roams within With rifle in hand, I am at peace In this land of bounty, this land of dreams I see the deer, the rabbit, the pheasant Each one a challenge, a test of skill I take aim, I shoot, I triumph For I am the hunter, and this is my thrill I feel the wind on my face, the sun on my back As I roam through this great, wild land The joy of the hunt, the thrill of the chase It fills me with wonder and delight For I am the hunter, and this is my place In this land of beauty, this land of light.
