River2Sea Whopper Plopper 110

Starting it off, we have the River2Sea Whopper Plopper 110.

This lure was actually designed by Larry Dahlberg, the well-known angler and host of “The Hunt for Big Fish.”

It was originally intended as a musky lure, but based on fishing reviews, it really stands out as a great choice for largemouth and smallmouth bass fishermen.

And according to fishermen who have actually used this lure, it has a great action, good sound, and a weight that throws really far.

The Whopper Plopper 110 model comes in several different colors, with one of the most popular being the perch (color 09)

Most fishermen who use this lure use a 15 to 30 pound line, and a medium to heavy fishing rod.

A couple of users have reported the propeller jams too easily, but this doesn’t appear to be a common issue.

The tail is designed to be tough enough to withstand the punishment of even aggressive musky attacks.

This is a smaller, faster, lighter version of the popular Whopper Plopper lure series.

One of the best features of the Whopper Plopper 75 is that even though it’s small, it’s still super tough.

This sturdiness is partly due to good construction, and partly just because it’s so compact.

And, of course, there’s the big benefit of being able to use this little guy anywhere, even in places where bigger lures aren’t ideal.

It’s so small and light, it readily floats on the surface and doesn’t tangle easily.

The realistic color pattern really draws in the big ones!

River2Sea Whopper Plopper 90

And now, to wrap our our review, we have the Whopper Plopper 90.

This lure is basically just a smaller version of the 110 model.

It’s a great option for going after bigger fish, such as largemouth bass, musky or pike.

This guy is in-between the size of the 75 and the 110, coming in at 3 1/2 inches with a weight of 1/2 ounce.

This lure may be a better choice for use in big, open lakes and ponds, as some reviewers note it gets stuck on plants in areas with more foliage.
